Tarnjit is 17 and has had acne for 4 years.  She tells us how it affects her...

"I have large red and pus-filled spots all over my face, back and chest.  I'm only 17 and should be enjoying life like the other girls at my school, dressing up to go to parties, chatting up boys... but I can never wear anything nice to go out, because I'm too self-conscious of the way I look.  I never show my shoulders, chest and back and even make-up can't hide the way my face looks.  I can't bring myself to talk to boys, because I just feel too ugly...

I'm starting University next year and I wish I had more confidence.  I'm hoping that by then, my spots will clear up and I'll be able to live my life like everyone else does..."
