Fundraising for the British Skin Foundation doesn’t have to be a big deal; in fact it can be as easy as ABC! 

Over the last year we’ve had people do a number of things for us, such as cake and bake sales at their school, quiz nights, sponsored walks and treks and even a spray tan party! Here’s what you need to do to get your own fundraiser off the ground:

A is for Activity

Decide what you want to do. Sounds simple, but consider a few basic things like, when you’re going to do it, who will take part, and where. If you’re stuck for ideas, have a look at our A to Z of fundraising ideas list for some inspiration. Remember that it doesn’t have to be a major event to count; it can be as simple as doing a whip around at the office on a Friday afternoon.

B is for Be Organised

Let us know if you are planning to organise a fundraiser and our events team will support you as much as possible to make sure it is a success. This also means making sure you’ve thought about any legal and safety issues. It’s worth having a read through our guidelines for best practice to get an idea.

C is for Contact

Don’t forget our press team can help you publicise your event. No one will turn up if they don’t know about it, so get in touch. We can also put your efforts in our E-newsletter, the website as well as our physical newsletter. You can email bevis@bad.org.uk or call 0207 391 6347.
