BSF Research Award
About the Research Award
A BSF Research Award is available to anybody wishing to carry out U.K or R.O.I based research into skin disease
The maximum amount of funds available is £81,000
No ‘top-ups’ or extensions are available for any reason
The maximum duration of the BSF Research Award is 2 years (£40,500 per year)
The BSF Research Award must be activated within 12 months of the award letter
The BSF Research Award funding is claimed by authorised finance departments submitting invoices at quarterly intervals
A scientific and a lay report are to submitted both mid-term and upon completion
The British Skin Foundation’s support to be mentioned in any relevant papers or presentations and copies to be forwarded to the BSF office
BSF Fellowship Award
About the Fellowship
The BSF Fellowship application form is to be completed by the nominating supervisor or head of department
The BSF Fellowship is to support a clinician at a U.K or R.O.I based institution
The BSF Fellowship is a fixed amount of £62,000
No ‘top-ups’ or extensions are available for any reason
The maximum duration of the BSF Fellowship is 1 year
The BSF Fellowship must be activated within 12 months of the award letter
The BSF Fellowship funding is claimed by an authorised finance department submitting invoices at quarterly intervals
A scientific and a lay report are to be submitted annually
The award is to be named the BSF Fellowship in any relevant papers or presentations with copies forwarded to the BSF office
BSF Studentship Award
About the Studentship
A BSF Studentship is available to any U.K or R.O.I based research institution seeking to fund dermatological research at a Phd Student level
The BSF Studentship is a fixed amount of £81,000 (£27k per year for 3 years)
No ‘top-ups’ or extensions are available for any reason
The maximum duration of the BSF Studentship is 3 years
The BSF Studentship must be activated within 12 months of the award letter
The BSF Studentship funding is claimed by authorised finance departments submitting invoices at quarterly intervals
A scientific and a lay report are to be submitted annually
The British Skin Foundation’s support to be mentioned in any relevant papers or presentations and copies to be forwarded to the BSF office
