There are eight million people living with a skin disease in the UK. Some are manageable, others are severe enough to kill. We are here to help change that.

We raise money to fund research for cures for skin disease and skin cancer, but research doesn't fund itself.

We are the UK's only charity dedicated to skin research, and all of our donations and fundraising events are crucial to enabling us to continue our work.

We have supported more than 260 research projects and awarded more than £8m in funding across all skin diseases including eczema, psoriasis and many more.

Every penny raised or donated by you goes straight into funding research, so help us find a cure today.

Do you live with skin disease?

We need your help! We are urgently looking for more people with skin disease to help us with out media work. You know better than anyone else what life is like and how you're affected, and we just want to get those stories out there in the press, whether that's a newspaper, local radio or even a national paper! 

Everyone who does this for the BSF does so because they want others to get a better understanding of skin disease - ultimately as someone who might donate, why would you give money to a cause you don't fully understand? You are key to to breaking down that barrier, and it really isn't that scary seeing your name in print - in fact it's quite exciting!
