Grant History
Over the past 13 years, the British Skin foundation has supported more than 200 high quality research projects with a total value of more than £6M.
More than £1.5M has been put towards research into skin cancer, a further £700,000 towards Psoriasis and £800,000 towards projects looking at Eczema. Work has also been funded which deals with some less common conditions such as Ichthyosis, Vitiligo and Alopecia. In all, the British Skin Foundation has funded research into more than 50 different types of skin disease.
The BSF has also funded some exciting work in partnership with patient support groups such as the National Eczema Society and the Vitiligo Society as well as professional dermatological groups including the British Society for Paediatric Dermatology and British Contact Dermatitis Society.
