I decided to do a fundraising to help improve the life of skin disease sufferers because since the age of ten (I'm now 22) I have suffered with acne and it has really affected my mental health. If acne has made me feel depressed and anxious I can't imagine what effect it would have on people with more serious conditions. Barts and the London have been taking part in Battle of the DermSocs since 2018. Battle of the DermSocs encourages friendly competition between UK DermSoc as we all work towards the shared goal of raising money for the British Skin Foundation. This year we aim to use creative and innovative methods to raise even more money for research into skin disease.
