Ocean Brothers hit target

Ocean Brothers Jude Massey (19) and Dr Greg Bailey (28) have now officially smashed their £100,000 target following their Atlantic Ocean row. The Lymington brothers completed the 53 day, 3,000 mile row across the Atlantic Ocean from Gran Canaria to Barbados back in March to raise money for the British Skin Foundation.

The money will go to skin cancer research in memory of their dad/stepdad, Peter Massey who sadly passed away in 2015 after suffering for 16 years with skin cancer.

During the unsupported row the duo experienced a dramatic capsize at night, being followed by sharks, equipment failure, hallucinations, fatigue and bad weather. Despite everything, they completed the row on a vegan diet, with Jude being awarded a Guinness World Record for the youngest man ever to complete the row in a pair.

The half-brothers have dedicated the past 18 months to this amazing challenge, putting in the time to fundraise, raise awareness and secure sponsorship.
